An adult with ADD has between 25 and 30% chance of also suffering from depression. A survey done by Dr. Adrian Scott from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom found that people who felt they didn't have control over their finances were most likely to suffer from depression. What makes the study interesting is that the stress that triggered the depression was not directly related to their financial circumstances. It seems the key to avoid financial related stress and anxiety is to understand where your money goes, and having a financial plan for the future.
