I was reading the All Things Financial blog and found an interesting article on the Wall Street Journal website titled New Programs Spur Working Poor To Begin Saving. What I found fascinating about the article is that the article found that when people are given financial counseling and financial incentives they were able to save and pay down debt. While many adults with ADD may not qualify for the financial incentives that many of these programs offer, it is important to focus on your own incentives to save and pay down debt. If you can visualize your reasons for saving money and paying down debt you are going to be more likely to do it.
