I have attached an excerpt from an article about the owners of a mishmash country store that has no business plan and is currently not making money. Even though this isn't a typical success story, there are two reasons why I listed this article as a success story
1. The store thrives on a creative energy; ADD entrepreneurs tend to have the high level of creativity needed in order to be successful.
2. The owners are able to juggle multiple business ventures at one time. The store has a gift shop, ice cream shop, restaurant, and live entertainment. ADD entrepreneurs tend to be good at multitasking which is required when managing multiple business ventures.
Jackson freely admits the store is a mishmash.
"My friends always say, 'You don't have a business plan; you have ADHD [Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder]!'" she said, laughing. The store is also a restaurant and ice cream shop, though at times it serves as a live entertainment venue.
