When I type in the term "money management" into Amazon it gives me the choice of over 8,000 books I should read. The sheer amount of information available about money management can be overwhelming to anyone, particularly to many adults with ADD. The reason why there are so many books about money management is because most people are searching for easy solutions about how to handle and grow their money.
There is not one easy solution for someone trying to manage their finances. Yet many people make money off of people who are looking for an easy solution. For example there are over 2,500 books about investing in real estate. Can you make money off of investing in real estate? Yes you can. However what most of these books gloss over the actual risk, actual work, and expertise needed to make money. Learning about money management is not about trying to find one solution to your cash problems, it is about giving you enough information so that you are comfortable with your financial decisions.

I like things to be simple, simple, simple. I don't deal very well with information "overload". That's why I like to tackle my pf decisions one at a time, moving from goal to goal...

Of course, if I were to be offered a big pile of cash to write a pf book, I'd be more than willing to add to the number of pf books available! :)
