Last week I had written a post about saving money by getting the best price for gasoline. In the article I had mentioned that by using the Internet to research gas prices in your area before you fill up you could potentially save over one hundred dollars a year. In talking with my wife she made me realize that I overlooked something. It is more likely for an adult with ADHD to lose track of how much gas they have in the car. When you are running on empty, you do not have the option of checking prices.
If you still want to save some money on gasoline do not despair, you will just need to work to establish a simple routine. It can be as easy as picking a specific time and day during the week to research prices and the go out a fill up you car. If you are successful in establishing this routine you will not only save a little money, but it could also help you to avoid be stranded on the side of the road because you ran out of gas.
