One of the biggest struggles that many adults with ADHD have is to take action on a project that they want to accomplish. Part of the struggle with taking action is that you may not always get the desired result for the effort you put into to task or project. In trying to achieve goals in life we have to accept that we do not have total control when it comes to achieving the desired results. This is especially true for financial goals. You could suddenly have expenses that you could not reasonably anticipate or you could be lucky enough to receive money that you weren't expecting. Placing all you emphasis on results, could cause you to make poor decisions when managing your future finances. If you place more emphasis on measuring and documenting the actual actions you have taken, the results that you desire will soon follow.

This is so true. I have a lot of trouble completing projects because I'm so obsessed with the results, and have trouble working along the way. I wish there was a trick to fix this.

I think I tend to think of my actions for projects in micro, especially when I'm feeling overwhelmed. I try to just get through one small task at a time.

I think I usually think of my activities for tasks in little, especially when I'm sensation confused. I try to just get through one little process at the same time.
